EQUINOX NET WINDOUT
SPIDI Equinox is the lightweight, middle-length jacket delivering adventure riders great comfort in warm and mid climates. Ventilation is indeed offered by the mesh panels on the chest, arms and back while - in case of temperature drop - you can easily attach the WindOut inner jacket thanks to the Step-In Wear attachment system.
The main chassis is a high-tenacity polyester combined with nylon Ripstop, offering good abrasion and cut resistance: the Equinox jacket has CE certification to the EN 17092-4:2020 Class A standard, and it comes with Level 2 Warrior Lite removable protectors in the shoulders and Level 1 Forcetech in the elbows. There’s a pocket for optional Warrior Serie back protector (sold separately). 3M® Scotchlite® reflectors are located on front, on back and on arms for excellent nighttime visibility.
Great riding comfort is guaranteed by anti-flapping ergonomic system on arms and forearms, while a jacket-to-pants Clip Stop connection system is located on the bottom of the jacket; zippers on wrist guarantee a perfect closure system. 3 front external pockets, 1 big back pocket plus 1 internal waterproof pockets gives wide storage space to keep all your essentials.

SPIDI, always very interested to seize the most important technological innovations and to translate them into the motorcycle world, developed the STEP-IN WEAR Technology. The project took full form in 1998 with the presentation of the very first ERGO jacket. The STEP-INWEAR system is based on a similar research made in the military aeronautical apparel. At the base of the system there's a "shell” conceived to accommodate the different internal linings; four combinations can be set to respond to a variety of temperatures. More and more products are now made using fabrics. Cowhide, excellent material for the production of motorcycle apparel, is being replaced by lighter, less expensive and easier to wash materials; therefore the challenge is to find an equally durable fabric. Spidi dedicated a lot of resources to find the best materials to equip riders and therefore created a standard to identify the best fabrics: TexTech. READ MORE The peculiar TexTech has water repellency, perspiration, windbreaking, shear strength and abrasion resistance. Each supply is tested by the SAFETY LAB to ensure the required performances. The TexTech technology is applied to all the products with textile materials, except for the H2Out category. All these fabrics are studied by SPIDI in collaboration with the best producers in the world.
