The SPIDI RR Naked pants feature a full grain cowhide chassis (1.1 to 1.2mm thick) with Keprotec stretch areas to keep you comfortable. The RR Naked is designed for safety-minded touring and sport touring motorcyclists, they have removable Warrior Lite Armor (En 1621-1:2012) in the knees and hips, as well as a zipper to attach the pants to a jacket for added safety. The RR Naked pants are CE certified to the prEN 17092-2:2017 Class AAA standard for additional peace of mind, for comfort they have stretch sections above both knees to avoid bunching, and although they’re not waterproof they can handle light showers. SPIDI have added reflective zones front and back for better nighttime visibility and there are also two front zip pockets.
SPIDI was born in the most important district for leather processing. Tanning in the Chiampo Valley boasts roots in the fifteenth century, when farmers themselves began to tan and sell leathers. The beginning of the industrial process of tanning can be dated to the '800s; it's towards the middle of the twentieth century that the art of tanning invades the whole valley, thanks to the electromechanical development, and counting now over 700 factories in that industry.
