A breakthrough milestone, SPIDI Mission-V introduces a new category in motorcycle jackets, combining commuting and adventure features to create an all-original piece of design. Built to face the elements in every season, it offers absolute versatility on and off the bike.
Mission-V offers great comfort in urban riding, in winter and summer (wearing the inner mesh jacket only), becoming a great companion for your longer travels in a few steps: just remove the hood and, in case of colder climates, zip on the optional thermal layer. Would you use it as an outdoor jacket once off the bike, just zip off all layers and wear the external shell only. By freely combining the STEP-INARMOR layers, riders can create multiple configurations, adapting the jacket to their surroundings.

→ Hard Shell: the H2Out® laminated 3-layer SPIDI Stretch Performance fabric provides elasticity and durability, with high waterproofness and breathability levels (10K/10K). 3M® reflective details enhance rider’s visibility while double fabric layers on shoulders and elbows offers additional anti-abrasion resistance. The 8 inches-long air vents located between torso and arms and the 10-inches ones positioned on shoulders guarantee direct air circulation in the warmest part of the body, elevating comfort level even in hottest climates. Thanks to the Step-In Armor technology, the shell can be used as a stand alone or connected to the others in multiple combinations through the Vislon® Ykk® zipper and the additional attachment buttons.
→ Armor: the detachable protective armor is a lightweight A-Class jacket delivering protection and ventilation when riding in extremely hot conditions, that can be worn as a stand-alone mesh jacket or attached under any other shell featuring STEP-INARMOR technology. Made with high tenacity polyester mesh combined with elasticized fabric areas, it has CE certification to the EN 17092-4:2020 and it comes with Level 2 protectors in the shoulders and elbows. For those who want the absolute maximum possible protection, the jacket has attachments for both back and chest protectors which are available separately.
One jacket - multiple configurations. By freely combining the three STEP-INARMOR layers through the connection system, riders can create 6 different configurations, adapting the jacket to their surroundings.
We reinvented the three-layer jacket with STEP-INARMOR, the technology that places the protective layer close to the body. Safe but extremely lightweight, STEP-INARMOR offers riders everything they need – protection, soft-shell and hard-shell – in a single garment.

The project, the result of a partnership with Toray, a Japanese manufacturer, started from a very precise - as well as ambitious - objective: to create a specific
waterproof windproof breathable membrane, that is to say with such a microporosity as to guarantee maximum comfort, taking into account the specific use for the motorcyclists. The result today is a heavy duty lining for motorcyclists’ H2Out technical articles. A windproof, waterproof shield, which is at the same time breathable, light, flexible with micrometric thickness.

STEP-IN ARMOR
SPIDI reinvents the three-layer jacket with STEP-IN ARMOR, a new technology that moves the protective layer close to the body, turning the external layers into lighter, more casual items of clothing. Inspired by studies carried out in the field of military aviation, the STEP-IN WEAR technology by SPIDI already gives riders the possibility to use jackets made of three layers, starting from the outside protective shell. The STEP-IN ARMOR turns this concept inside out. READ MORE In jackets featuring the STEP-IN ARMOR technology, the inside layer is a net that integrates all necessary protections. This is a revolutionary concept that allows riders to feel fully safe when they wear only one light item of clothing close to the body. The middle layer is a soft shell in bielastic material. The external layer is a water- and windproof light shell. Light, comfortable and finely designed, these two layers can also be used as casual garments to sport while taking a break from the road. By freely combining the three layers of the STEP-IN ARMOR technology through a practical zip system, the rider can create six different configurations, based on the climate and latitude in which he or she is travelling.

By continuous research and experience, gained from Safety Lab, comes a new technology signed by SPIDI, synthesis of history and innovation, two founding values of the Brand. The main goal of the Safety Lab has always been focused on nding the best combination of comfort and safety. After a long time of experimentation on track, through software simulations and tests in the urban environment, engineers of the SPIDI Community created the Warrior Tech, a new technology, with a careful study of bio-mechanics and ergonomics, able to protect the rider in the most sensitive areas in the event of a fall. READ MORE The never ending research in technical innovations becomes more and more accurate, reaching its peak with the performance of Warrior Tech; a technology able to respond at extreme stress. Thanks to its modular design, it adapts perfectly to the natural shapes of the human body. The most innovative value, focused in the design of its structure that enhance the possibilities offered by polymers and the nonperforming process, allows the industrial production of a protector with impact absorption capacity never reached before.
