SPIDI Beta Superlight: the urban commuting motorcycle coat combining absolute waterproofness and extreme lightness.
The 3-layer laminated shell with H2Out® waterproof and breathable membrane is ideal to be worn over casual clothing, even at higher temperatures: Beta Superlight is indeed built minimizing the use of liners and overlapping of fabrics, thus reducing the overall weight and increasing breathability and comfort in warmer days.
The jacket is CE prEN 17092-2:2017 Class A certified; Level 2 Warrior Lite protectors on shoulders and elbows are extremely light and easily removable. Level 1 and Level 2 Warrior back protectors are available as options. YKK® Aquaguard® zippers offer maximum water resistance.
Beta Superlight can be upgraded with Step-In Wear thermal layers.

All the projects to create new SPIDI articles are designed and planned in Sarego (VI) in Italy. The experience acquired since 1977 is translated today into a highly rated, reliable product that reflects a policy based on competence and solidity. The project, the result of a partnership with Toray, a Japanese manufacturer, started from a very precise - as well as ambitious - objective: to create a specific
waterproof windproof breathable membrane, that is to say with such a microporosity as to guarantee maximum comfort, taking into account the specific use for the motorcyclists. The result today is a heavy duty lining for motorcyclists’ H2Out technical articles. A windproof, waterproof shield, which is at the same time breathable, light, flexible with micrometric thickness.

By continuous research and experience, gained from Safety Lab, comes a new technology signed by SPIDI, synthesis of history and innovation, two founding values of the Brand. The main goal of the Safety Lab has always been focused on nding the best combination of comfort and safety. After a long time of experimentation on track, through software simulations and tests in the urban environment, engineers of the SPIDI Community created the Warrior Tech, a new technology, with a careful study of bio-mechanics and ergonomics, able to protect the rider in the most sensitive areas in the event of a fall. Thanks to its modular design, it adapts perfectly to the natural shapes of the human body.
