SPIDI Rain Chest fits into jackets designed to house it and makes them waterproof without compromising fit and breathability, thanks to its H2Out waterproof and breathable membrane. You can connect Rain Chest to the external jacket through the loops you find in every SPIDI jacket featuring Step-In Wear technology. Rain Chest can in turn house the optional thermal linings: this way you can create your own 3-layer jacket when you need it. Package dimensions: 25x10x10 cm Product weight: 0.30 kg
All the projects to create new SPIDI articles are designed and planned in Sarego (VI) in Italy. The experience acquired since 1977 is translated today into a highly rated, reliable product that reflects a policy based on competence and solidity. READ MOREThe experience of the world best riders converges here; the co-operation with the international research field, where we must thank the University of Hannover and the CNR (Consiglio Nazionale Ricerche) of Padova, for their incredible contribution in the safety field; unique technological innovations, since they have been developed in order to be used in the motorcycling field, such as the exclusive microporous waterproofwindproof- breathable H2Out membrane, a result of years of co-operation into research in Japan with Toray. The project, the result of a partnership with Toray, a Japanese manufacturer, started from a very precise - as well as ambitious - objective: to create a specific waterproof windproof breathable membrane, that is to say with such a microporosity as to guarantee maximum comfort, taking into account the specific use for the motorcyclists. The result today is a heavy duty lining for motorcyclists’ H2Out technical articles. A windproof, waterproof shield, which is at the same time breathable, light, flexible with micrometric thickness.

STEP-INWEAR
Modularity, this term has written the history of architecture and design in the whole world. SPIDI, always very interested to seize the most important technological innovations and to translate them into the motorcycle world, developed the STEP-IN WEAR Technology. The project took full form in 1998 with the presentation of the very first ERGO jacket. The STEP-INWEAR system is based on a similar research made in the military aeronautical apparel. At the base of the system there's a "shell” conceived to accommodate the different internal linings; four combinations can be set to respond to a variety of temperatures. The precious work made by the Safety Lab led to the exclusive. READ MORESTEP-INWEAR project, which redefines the concept of adventure apparel and opens new horizons of freedom. A simple but revolutionary concept. The primary advantage for the rider is to change or replace the inner liners; this allows to adapt the protection to different weather conditions. In SPIDI, we know how COMFORT and SAFETY have a fundamental role while riding on two wheels, and STEP-INWEAR offers a new way of travelling, so the rider can concentrate on the road and admire the landscape.
