Strategically positioned ventilation panels on the chest and back provide effective airflow, helping to regulate body temperature during warm-weather rides. In addition, an innovative design allows the fabric beneath the two high front pockets to be folded down, revealing large mesh panels that significantly increase ventilation without sacrificing utility. The pockets remain fully accessible even when the mesh panels are open, ensuring excellent airflow and full functionality, ideal for long summer rides. Ventilation is further enhanced by innovative Neck-to-Elbow vents that can be opened with zips, allowing for customizable airflow along the arms.
The outer shell is constructed from abrasion-resistant, high-tenacity polyester and ripstop, ensuring excellent durability and resistance to wear. At its core, the jacket features the H2OUT® waterproof, windproof, and breathable membrane which offers superior protection from the elements while maintaining airflow. Both the H2OUT® membrane and the thermal liner are fully removable and can be worn separately or together, thanks to SPIDI’s innovative STEP-INWEAR technology, the modular system that allows for six possible layer combinations, adapting to changing conditions on the fly. Moreover the H2OUT® membrane can be worn under or over the external shell, thanks to its INSIDEOUT construction.
The Crossmaster 2 is equipped with Warrior Lite protectors, certified to CE EN1621-1 Level 2, on both shoulders and elbows. It also features a dedicated pocket for a Warrior back protector and attachment for Warrior chest protector (sold separately). Fully certified to Class AA under the EN 17092-4:2020 standard, it meets rigorous safety criteria for motorcycle use. Reflective details enhance rider visibility in low-light conditions, adding an extra layer of safety on night rides.

The project, the result of a partnership with Toray, a Japanese manufacturer, started from a very precise - as well as ambitious - objective: to create a specific
waterproof windproof breathable membrane, that is to say with such a microporosity as to guarantee maximum comfort, taking into account the specific use for the motorcyclists. COMFORT
STEP-INWEAR
Modularity, this term has written the history of architecture and design in the whole world. SPIDI, always very interested to seize the most important technological innovations and to translate them into the motorcycle world, developed the STEP-IN WEAR Technology. The project took full form in 1998 with the presentation of the very first ERGO jacket. The STEP-INWEAR system is based on a similar research made in the military aeronautical apparel. At the base of the system there's a "shell” conceived to accommodate the different internal linings; four combinations can be set to respond to a variety of temperatures. By continuous research and experience, gained from Safety Lab, comes a new technology signed by SPIDI, synthesis of history and innovation, two founding values of the Brand. The main goal of the Safety Lab has always been focused on nding the best combination of comfort and safety. After a long time of experimentation on track, through software simulations and tests in the urban environment, engineers of the SPIDI Community created the Warrior Tech, a new technology, with a careful study of bio-mechanics and ergonomics, able to protect the rider in the most sensitive areas in the event of a fall. Thanks to its modular design, it adapts perfectly to the natural shapes of the human body.
